Robotics · High-speed hardware
The nervous system of a sorting robot.
Led the design and testing of an 8-layer, 600+ component carrier board that brings compute, sensors, and high-speed peripherals together on one dependable platform.
Embedded hardware engineer · Noida, India
I'm Rishab Aggarwal—an embedded engineer turning complex electrical, firmware, and mechanical constraints into dependable machines.
Selected work / 2023—26
From the first architecture sketch to the last emissions test, I like owning the full loop.
Robotics · High-speed hardware
Led the design and testing of an 8-layer, 600+ component carrier board that brings compute, sensors, and high-speed peripherals together on one dependable platform.
AGV · Sensor fusion
Developed a hybrid multi-zone obstacle-detection sensor for AGVs within an existing form factor, improving coverage and accuracy while cutting system cost.
ASRS · Motion firmware
Built control firmware for a high-speed storage and retrieval system, tuning motion and alignment under real-world loads of up to 40 kg.
Mixed signal · EMI / EMC
Designed a 6-layer, 250+ component mixed-signal board with isolated communication and on-board power, then worked through radiated-emissions failures to improve reliability.
How I work
Good embedded products happen in the space between disciplines. That's where I do my best work.
System partitioning, schematics, stack-ups, controlled impedance, high-speed and mixed-signal design.
Board-level debug, system integration, root-cause analysis, EMI/EMC testing, and production support.
STM32, AVR, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, C/C++, Python, shell scripting, and engineering automation.
Experience
ADDVERB TECHNOLOGIES · NOIDA
Progressed from intern to GET to embedded engineer, working across robotics hardware, sensing, firmware, validation, and team automation.
TECH MAHINDRA · MAKERS LAB
Prototyped an AI smart-scarecrow concept and a frugal anemometer while learning how multidisciplinary R&D teams turn hypotheses into working hardware.
THAPAR INSTITUTE
Graduated with an 8.67/10 CGPA and a bias toward projects where electronics, software, and practical problem-solving meet.
Earlier experiments
A custom Django workflow that reduced manual effort at a law firm by 20%.
IoT curtains and adaptive lighting designed to save 30% more power.
A Raspberry Pi and computer-vision concept for mapping soil nutrients and crop fit.
